My passion lies in understanding how and why people engage with technology, media, and entertainment, and the impact these have on individuals. Through research and data analysis, I aim to create outcomes that positively impact users and society.
As a Research Analyst at Insomniac Games, I analyze user behavior for Marvel's Spider-Man franchise and Wolverine, and provide key game development insights through playtesting, telemetry data analysis and dashboard visualizations.
As a PhD Researcher at USC, I conducted in-depth interviews, large-scale user surveys, online experiments and data analysis for mobile games and VR worlds.
As a UX Researcher at Hack for LA, I optimized website language and UI design through A/B testing and user interviews.
As a NASA intern, I enhanced user engagement in scientific communities through user interviews and targeted content creation.
I hold a Ph.D. in Communication with a focus on Media Psychology and an M.A. in Communication, both from the University of Southern California. I obtained an M.A. in Communication and a B.A. in Linguistics from Seoul National University.
